The First International Printmaking Collective Prints for Peace 2008 was exhibited at Instituto Mexicano Norteamericano de Relaciones Culturales in Monterrey NL México during the month of October 2008.
Before the opening on the 1 of October 2008, a panel discussion with opinion leaders was conducted with the theme of Peace in the city. The panel members were Rosaura Barahona El Norte editorialist, Lucrecia Lozano Dean of Humanities at ITESM and Monsignor Raul Vera Archbishop of Saltillo Coahuila México.
The prints exhibited are a collection of 140 prints from 26 countries. The titles included were peace in our countries instead of war; ecology; hunger and world peace; social equality and interior or spiritual peace.
