The Selections Committee decided that the First Price would be awarded to
Mr. Shoji Kato from Japan with the print “Waking up from the sleepiness of the afternoon”,
the technique is Xylography. His message is “I hope all the people live a happy life in peace”.
The first prize consists of a solo exhibit with 12 prints. The 12 prints will be
returned after the exhibit.

The Selections Committee decided that the Second Price would be awarded to Mrs. Noriko Yida from Japan with the print “The Seeds of Peace”, the technique is mezzotint, dry point and collograph. The message of peace sent by her was “We must grow “peace” from seed”. “Peace” must be treated with sensitivity” . The second prize consists of the participation with 3 prints in the Second International Printmaking Collective 2010 organized by Arte/Desarrollo Humano. The three prints will be returned after the exhibit.
Both exhibits will be held at Centro Cultural Arquitectura of the School of Arquitecture of Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Léon México in April 2010.
